Ballarat Youth Award Nominations

Youth Awards Nominations:

Around 20,000 people aged between 12 and 25 live in Ballarat. The City of Ballarat Youth Awards are an opportunity to recognise the achievements of young people in our community across a range of areas.

Created in 2005, the Youth Awards highlight and celebrate young achievers in nine categories,

with two other categories which recognise adults supporting young people in the community

The 2017 Awards are being presented by City of Ballarat Youth Council to recognise contributions

of young people as leaders, volunteers, carers, athletes and artists.

Nominations open on Monday 17 July and close on Friday 18 August 2017.

Awards categories:

· Brighter Future Award

· Technology Award

· Positive Youth Leader Award

· Challenge and Change Award

· Group Project Award

· Leadership in the Arts Award

· Young Carer Award

· Leadership in Sport Award

· Youth Volunteer Award

· Adult Ally Award – Volunteer

· Adult Ally Award - Worker

· City of Ballarat Award (12 – 17 years)

· City of Ballarat Award (18 – 25 years
