Hairdressers volunteer their weekend to support Ash

At age 26 the chances of Ash Ham (right) having Ovarian Cancer were less than 1 percent.

But that is exactly what happened to the vivacious young Ballarat woman.

Friends at Alfredton Hair and Beauty are tomorrow showing their support by extended their opening times. Between 2,3 and 5.30pm 17 staff will volunteer their time to raise money for Ovarian Cancer Research Australia.

Sinclairs Meats, Meat & More butcher and Brumbys Bakery are also donating to the event at the salon (1777 Sturt St, Alfredton).

We caught up with Ash on Ballarat Today, along with hairdresser and buddy Liana Ryan.
